Overview 

These technical requirements provide a guide to suppliers in terms of expectations for packing of LNS products and are additional to other WFP specifications for LNS. Requirements set out in this document are used for technical assessment and audit purposes. Suppliers must  follow these requirements as a condition of contracts with WFP.

The document provides information for a number of quality control measures, shelf life of LNS packaging materials, traceability requirements, and inspection of primary packaging suppliers. Suppliers can also refer to the annex of this document for applicable drop test protocols.
